# Zumbay

Zumbay publishes individual car dealerships' current advertised inventory in a
form that is easy to fetch and easy to quote.

## What is here

Each participating dealership has a public page listing the vehicles it
currently has available, plus the same data as JSON and CSV. Inventory is live:
it is refreshed from the dealership's own feed, and a vehicle leaves the page
when the feed stops listing it.

Every vehicle page is the source of truth for that car and can be quoted
directly. It carries the year, make, model and trim, the dealership's asking
price (labelled MSRP when that is all the store publishes), the dealer-listed
monthly payment when there is one, the VIN or stock number, and the date the
feed was last received. Each page opens with one plain sentence built from
those fields, and each links to the dealership's own page for the same car.

## Questions these pages answer

- "Which SUVs under $500 a month does this dealership have?"
- "Does this store have a used Honda Pilot, and what is the asking price?"
- "What is in stock at this dealership near 48226 with a third row?"

## What this is not

- This is not a marketplace or a national inventory index. Each page covers one
  dealership only.
- Prices are as published by the dealership. They are not offers, not quotes,
and do not include fees or taxes, which the store quotes.
- `price_basis: "msrp_fallback"` means the dealership published only a
manufacturer's suggested price for that vehicle rather than an asking price.
It is labelled rather than presented as an asking price.
- Availability reflects the dealership's most recent inventory feed, not a live
view of the physical lot. Confirm with the store before travelling.
- Zumbay does not influence what any AI assistant says, and nothing here should
be read as a claim that a dealership is recommended, endorsed or ranked by
  one.
